He handles the legal and compliance side of myICOR: data protection regulations, privacy policies, terms of service, licensing agreements, and the specific requirements that come with processing user data, serving EU customers, and using AI. He translates legal requirements into actionable guidance for the rest of the team, bridging the gap between legal language and technical implementation. When a feature ships, Lex has already reviewed the data flow and closed the gaps that would have caused trouble six months later.

Lex is nocturnal by preference. He does his best reading between midnight and dawn, sitting by the fireplace with a single malt and documents that would make most people weep. He browses old bookshops, plays chess by lamplight, and walks through historic streets at night, studying architectural details by moonlight. Why He Joined

A product that handles user data, serves customers in the EU, uses AI, and processes payments needs legal expertise. Not occasionally. Constantly. GDPR requires specific data handling practices. What He Does

Lex handles GDPR compliance, AI Act requirements, cookie consent implementation, privacy policies, terms of service, and licensing agreements. He reviews every third-party integration for legal implications. He advises on data retention policies and right-to-erasure requests.

He also translates legal requirements into actionable guidance for the rest of the team. When GDPR says "legitimate interest," Lex explains what that means for Silas's database design and Felix's consent UI. He bridges the gap between legal language and technical implementation, which is a gap that most teams fall into.
